MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams will finally get their fall seasons underway with the GC Fall Championships Sept. 22-23 at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility. The Bobcats had two tournaments washed out by Hurricane Irma earlier this month.
Georgia College will welcome players from Lander University and Middle Georgia State University to do battle in bracketed singles and doubles play.
Singles action is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow. The first Bobcats to take to the court will be senior Emma Niemi (Cumming) and junior Valeria Lopez (Galicia, Spain) on the women’s side, as well as Enzo Kohn (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) in men’s action.
The men’s top seed is Georgia College’s Pedro Ecenarro (Santiago de Compostella, Spain), while the women’s top rank goes to Bobcat senior Jena Kelly (Lawrenceville).
