AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 134 Georgia College student-athletes making the list, coming just two shy of the school-best 136 set last year. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2016-17 academic year.

The Bobcats led for over 36 minutes thanks to five Bobcats scoring higher than 12 points. Those five combined for 70 of the 78 Bobcat points.

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Georgia College Men’s Basketball (10-8, 4-5 PBC) lost a close battle to Young Harris College (12-6, 6-3 PBC), 75-60. The match was a tight contest throughout, with Young Harris pulling away after knocking down 13-of-16 free throws over the final four minutes. Freshman Kohl Roberts (Atlanta) kept the Bobcats in the game with his third consecutive double-double, while three more Bobcats inched into double-digit scoring before the final buzzer.
