MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Women's Basketball Program (15-9, 12-6 PBC) landed the tenth spot in the D2SIDA Southeastern Poll for the week of Feb. 12, making the list for the second-straight week.
The Bobcats are one of four Peach Belt Conference (PBC) members receiving the recognition. They join the University of North Georgia, Lander University, and Flagler College in the poll as well, who earned the three, four, and eight spots respectively.
The Bobcats have four games remaining in the season, with only two home contests. Senior Night is Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 5:30 p.m. in the Centennial Center, where Georgia College plays Columbus State University. The Homecoming game is Saturday, Feb. 17 at 3:30 p.m. against North Georgia.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
