AUGUSTA, Ga. – In the interest of safety for the teams involved, Augusta University officials have announced the postponement of Saturday’s Jaguar Invitational, the next race on the Georgia College Women’s and Men’s Cross Country schedule.
The meet has been moved to Saturday, Sept. 22 and will still take place at the Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site in Beech Island, South Carolina.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
