MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Georgia College’s new cheerleading coach, Kirstie Murner, is pleased to announce cheerleading tryouts for the 2014-2015 cheer season.
Tryouts will take place Saturday, Oct. 4 at 9 a.m. in the Centennial Center. Participants will need an updated physical, school schedule and insurance card. Those who are interested should contact coach Murner via email at GCcheerleading@gmail.com for more information.
The cheerleading team at Georgia College took fourth place in the 2013 National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) National Championship, and the new coach hopes to continue the team’s success.
The first game for the new cheerleading team will be the Georgia College men’s basketball home opener Nov. 22 against Clark Atlanta University.
