  • School-Record 136 Bobcat Student-Athletes Named to PBC Presidential Honor Roll

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with a school-record 136 Georgia College student-athletes making the list, nine more than the previous mark, set in 2013-14. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2015-16 academic year.
  • Bobcat Women’s Tennis Takes Team GPA Award; Department Records All-Time High

    MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Department of Athletics posted a 3.28 GPA for the 2015-16 academic year. The GC Women’s Tennis team took team GPA honors in the Bobcat Athletic Department, ending a three-year run at the top for Bobcat Women’s Cross Country. The GC Women’s Tennis team posted an amazing 3.65 GPA combined for the two semesters, leading the 11 Bobcat varsity sports teams.
  • Bobcat Golf Alum Narrowly Misses Cut for US Open

    ROSWELL, Ga. – Georgia College Golf alum Bryan Fox (2011-14) did Bobcat Nation proud this week, coming up just three strokes shy of making the cut for the US Open. Fox finished fourth Tuesday at the US Open Sectional Qualifier at Ansley Golf Club’s Settindown Creek Course.

    ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Georgia College Golf climbed one spot to finish ninth at the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Championship Sunday after a 17-over team performance on the last 18 holes. The Bobcats finished ninth at plus-62 for the three rounds on the par-72, 6,939-yard Slammer and Squire championship course.

The five Bobcat golfers moved minimally on the individual leaderboard, each posting scores a few strokes higher than round one.

After 18 holes, the Bobcats are 10th on the team leaderboard with junior Thomas Knight (Eastman, Georgia) leading Georgia College individually at two-over par.

The Bobcats went to the clubhouse after round one shooting a collective 15-over for a 17th place day one finish.
