    WESTMINSTER, Co. — Former Georgia College Golf great Bryan Fox (2011-14) shot a blistering 62 at the Colorado Open Qualifying #4 at Legacy Golf Course Monday, qualifying the Bobcat alum for the 2017 CoBank Colorado Open July 20-23.

  • Bobcat Athletics Puts 134 Student-Athletes on PBC Presidential Honor Roll

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 134 Georgia College student-athletes making the list, coming just two shy of the school-best 136 set last year. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2016-17 academic year.
  • GC Women’s Cross Country Takes Team GPA Award; Department Records 3.25 GPA

    MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Department of Athletics posted a 3.25 GPA for the 2016-17 academic year, eclipsing the 3.2-mark for the third-straight year. The Bobcat Women’s Cross Country team took team GPA honors in the Bobcat Athletic Department in one of the tightest races in recent memory.
  • GC Golf Finishes Season 16th at NCAA Super Regional

    MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – The Georgia College Golf squad posted their best round of the three Wednesday at the NCAA South/Southeast Super Regional, carding a plus-13 295 to finish 16th among 20 of the toughest teams in the country. The field featured the top nine teams in the nation, as the Bobcats finished the three rounds at plus-32, topping No. 8 Lee University, No. 23 Coker College and No. 15 Rollins College.
  • GC Golf Jumps Three Slots to 14th in NCAA Super Regional Day Two

    MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – The Georgia College Golf squad improved three slots thanks in part to Thomas Knight (Eastman, Georgia) firing a 71 on day two at the NCAA South/Southeast Super Regional. The Bobcats are in a four-way tie for 14th place, carding an 11-over round today to post plus-25 for the two days of action at the par-72, 7,407-yard Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals.

The Bobcats carded a 302, good for 17th in the 20-team field at the par-72, 7,407-yard Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals course.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA released its second round of Division II Men’s Golf Region Rankings Friday, April 14 with Georgia College coming in ninth. This ranking of course did not include the Bobcats’ fourth-place finish at the recent PBC Championship Sunday.

Phi Kappa Phi was founded in 1897 and was the first academic society to be based on excellence across all fields of scholarly disciplines.

The Bobcats shot a 302 and 297 yesterday, combined with a 299 today for plus-58 on the par-70, 6,730-yard Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee.
