AUGUSTA, Ga. – Sophomore Daniel Davis (Columbus) of the Georgia College Golf team, has earned a spot on the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference office on April 16.
To make the 13-member team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and a starter or significant contributor to their team while maintaining at least a 3.30 grade-point average (GPA).
Davis has been a key piece of the 2018-19 squad, averaging a team second-best two-over par on the season. Davis’s biggest performance came at the Hurricane Invitational, where he finished third in a field of 75 at four-under.
Davis, a 2017-18 PBC Bronze Scholar, is an economics major with a finance minor. He is also the first Bobcat to earn a spot on the PBC All-Academic Team since Harry Lambert in 2017.
