GC Men’s Tennis Remains in Top-25 in ITA National Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – This week's Oracle/ITA Division II Men's Collegiate Tennis Rankings were released Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Georgia College (11-7) hangs onto a top-25 spot, coming in at No. 

Senior Robin Möller (Hamburg, Germany) moves up to No. 11 in the National Singles Rankings with a 15-2 overall singles record on the season. Möller ranked No. 14 last week.

Matt Rogel (Sautron, France) and Möller rank on the National Doubles Rankings sitting at No. 2 with an overall doubles record of 16-2. They hold the same position as the previous week.

The Bobcats are sixth among the eight Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools on the list, led by No. 2 Columbus State University. Flagler College is a slot behind, followed by No. 7 Lander University. No. 8 USC Aiken and No. 11 University of North Georgia come in before the Bobcats. Placed behind GC are No. 31 Francis Marion University and No. 39 Augusta University.

The Bobcats begin postseason play in the First Round of the PBC Tournament Friday, April 19 from Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina. Their opponent and start time is to be determined.
