GC Men’s Tennis Leaps Two Spots to #22 in Nation

TUCSON, Ariz. – This week's Oracle/ITA Division II Men's Collegiate Tennis Rankings were released Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Georgia College (11-7) jumps two slots despite being idle for the week, coming in at No. 22.

Senior Robin Möller (Hamburg, Germany) is No. 12 in the National Singles Rankings with a 15-2 overall singles record on the season. Möller ranked No. 11 last week.

Matt Rogel (Sautron, France) and Möller maintain their National Doubles Ranking of No. 2 with an overall doubles record of 16-2. They own this position for the third-straight week.

The Bobcats are sixth among the eight Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools on the list, led by No. 1 Columbus State University. Flagler College is fifth, followed by No. 6 USC Aiken. No. 7 Lander University and No. 16 University of North Georgia also come in before the Bobcats. Placed behind GC are No. 32 Francis Marion University and No. 38 Augusta University.

GC Men's Tennis is back in action Friday, April 19 at the PBC Tournament at Francis Marion. The No. 6-seed Bobcats take on No. 3-seed Flagler in the first round at 9 a.m.
