MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – After strong showings at the ITA Regionals in Sumter, South Carolina, the Georgia College Men's and Women's Tennis teams return home to host the GC Tennis Fall Championship at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility Oct. 4-5.
On the men's side, the three-team tournament will feature players from Peach Belt Conference (PBC) rival University of North Georgia and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC).
The Bobcats return five players from a year ago: Nathan Connelly (McDonough), Cole Heller (Woodstock), Ben Grunert (Roswell), Ben McClurg (Belfast, Northern Ireland), and Matt Rogel (Saurtron, France). The team is also bolstered by three new additions this season.
On the women's side, Georgia College will be joined by ABAC.
Friday's round will begin with doubles action at 1 p.m. and will be followed by two rounds of singles play. Saturday's slate features a pair of doubles rounds at 9 a.m. and a lone singles round to follow.
