AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) has announced the first round of weekly cross country honors of the new season, naming Georgia College sophomore Brennan Silliman (Douglasville) the PBC's Men's Runner of the Week.
It was quite a week for the sophomore, who helped propel the Bobcats to a fourth place finish in the VSU Border Clash in Valdosta. Silliman, a member of the 2017 All-PBC Team, appears to be building on his freshman year success, rounding out the 7.25K course in only 23:58, good for third in a field of 79.
Silliman becomes the sixth Bobcat Runner of the Week recipient, the first since teammate Shawn Olmstead (Buford) took home the honors in September 2017.
The Bobcats return to action Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Jaguar Invitational, hosted by Augusta University.
