GC Men’s Cross Country Brings in Fifth Slot in PBC Poll

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) released the results of their PBC Men's Cross Country Preseason Coaches Poll Monday, with Georgia College taking the fifth position.

The Bobcats are fifth among 11 teams after taking fourth place at the 2018 PBC Championship.

Augusta University owns the top slot with seven of the 10 first-place votes. Defending Champion UNC Pembroke is second, with Flagler College and Columbus State University coming in before the Bobcats.

The Bobcats get the 2019-20 season underway Friday, Sept. 6 at the Braves Twilight in Pembroke, North Carolina.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
