MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Sophomore catcher Haley Howell (Rochelle) of the Georgia College Softball team (34-17) has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for her efforts during the week ending April 28.
The Peach Belt Conference's (PBC) RBI leader was back at it this week, driving in nine and hitting .357 over four games. She drove in four in the 8-5 win over PBC Regular Season Champ and National No. 4 University of North Georgia Friday. She also drove in another five in the 8-5 win the next day at Augusta University.
The Bobcats are back in action at the 2019 PBC Tournament Friday in Dahlonega. No. 5-seed Georgia College will start with No. 4-seed Flagler College Friday, May 3 at 6:30 p.m.
