MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Soccer program and head coach Hope Clark hosted their annual Alumni Day April 16, as many familiar faces returned to Georgia College as part of a great weekend.
"It was another amazing turnout this spring for our Annual Alumni Game and Picnic," said Clark. "The alumni game first started in 2011 upon my arrival to Georgia College. I am so grateful for the alumni and all that they have contributed to our program, it is personally very rewarding for me as a coach to have strong relationships with all the players even after they have graduated."
Twenty alumni played in the alumni game against the current Bobcats, and a group even stuck around to enjoy the festivities at the Annual Georgia College Athletic Auction later that night.
"I have also had the opportunity to meet so many of the alumni that played here before I became the coach, and they have been tremendous in following our program and reaching out to me to show their support," added Clark. "We are doing things right in our soccer program. It is all because of the amazing young women that have come through our program and I am blessed just to be a small part of it all."
Bobcat Athletics would like to thank all of the Soccer Alumni for staying so close to the program.
