MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Georgia College volleyball and head coach Gretchen Krumdieck released the much-anticipated schedule for the 2015 season on April 20.
The volleyball team will open its third season with the Bobcat Classic Friday, Sept. 4 against the University of Charleston (W.V.) Eagles at 7 p.m. in the Centennial Center. On Saturday, Sept. 5, to finish out the tournament, the Bobcats will take on the Limestone College Saints and the Wingate University Bulldogs at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.
Georgia College will open conference play under the Centennial Center lights Friday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. against the University of Montevallo. Saturday Sept. 19, the home team hosts the annual Battle of the Cats contest against Columbus State University beginning at 5 p.m.
Tuesday Sept. 29 at 6 p.m., Georgia College will face last year's Peach Belt Conference (PBC) champions in Armstrong State University, who ended the season ranked 24th in the nation, as the Bobcats will look for the upset in the upcoming season.
Senior Night for the Bobcats will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7 when the team takes on UNC Pembroke in the final home contest of the season at 2 p.m.
All eagerly await the PBC Tournament, which will commence on Nov. 17, and the semi-final and final rounds will be held Nov. 20-21.
