MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Georgia College Volleyball Team has partnered with The Side-Out Foundation and its Dig Pink initiative. The Bobcats will be taking on conference rival Augusta University during the annual Dig Pink match Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m.
Not only will the Georgia College Bobcats be hosting this annual event, but they have also helped raise funds for the Side-Out Foundation.
The Side-Out Foundation helps specifically with stage four breast cancer since it is the most advanced of this dangerous disease as well as the least funded area of research. This foundation helps to raise funds not only for research but also for a clinical trial for patients with stage four breast cancer.
The Bobcats have raised $300 over their goal of $1,000 and still progressing. The team has taken the initiative to help raise funds for this cause during their Dig Pink match as well.
