INDIANAPOLIS – The Georgia College Volleyball team (17-10, 8-7 PBC) improved one spot in the latest edition of the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Rankings Wednesday, taking the No. 9 slot.
There are six teams in the region's top-10 from the Peach Belt Conference (PBC), led by region-leader USC Aiken. Flagler College is No. 3, Armstrong State University No. 4, Lander University No. 7 and Francis Marion University No. 8.
The Bobcat make the one-slot improvement with three matches to go in the regular season, all coming on the road. The Bobcats have appeared on both of the NCAA Southeast Region rankings this season.
The final version of this poll is used to determine the at-large bids to the NCAA Southeast Regional starting Dec. 1. The region hands out three automatic bids to the winners of championship tournaments in the PBC, South Atlantic Conference and Conference Carolinas. The remaining five slots are determined by this poll.
The Bobcats look to add to their resume Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m., traveling to USCA.
