Bobcat Volleyball Falls in Three-Setter at PBC Champion USC Aiken

AIKEN, S.C. – The Georgia College Volleyball team (7-3, 3-2 PBC) traveled to defending Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Champion USC Aiken (12-2, 4-0 PBC) Friday night, dropping a three-set battle on the road and halting a three-match win streak for the Bobcats.

Georgia College's best set was the first, going 25-18, followed by a 25-16 second and a 25-11 final frame.

Junior Ebony Powers (Jacksonville, Florida) led the attack with nine kills, adding seven digs as well. Sophomore Emily Crowell (Horseheads, New York) added seven kills to the cause.

Junior Kayla Brockway (Jacksonville, Florida) was busy, totaling 22 assists with three aces and seven digs. Leading the way for the defense was Chandler Ewaldsen (Savannah, Georgia) with 21 digs.

The Bobcats are back in action Friday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m., playing host to Albany State University.
