2017 Bobcat Volleyball

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Volleyball team (16-5, 5-3 PBC) took three quick sets from UNC Pembroke (4-22, 0-10 PBC) Friday night in a victory at the Centennial Center.

Georgia College left little up to chance in the sets, winning 25-18, 25-16 and 25-16.

"Tonight was a great team effort," said head coach Gretchen Krumdieck. "We raised a lot of money for Dig Pink and at the end of the day, that was the goal."

Sophomore Emily Crowell (Horseheads, New York) had a great attacking night with a match-high 11 kills, hitting .450 with just two errors.

Junior Kayla Brockway (Jacksonville, Florida) had 26 assists and 10 digs for a double-double. Senior Chandler Ewaldsen (Savannah) led the defense with 18 digs.

GC Volleyball improves to 8-2 all-time against UNCP, including wins in six straight. The Bobcats are 9-2 in the month of October.

The Bobcats return to the court tomorrow, Oct. 28 at 5 p.m., playing host to Francis Marion University.
