MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Sophomore Libby Bochniak (Marietta) takes home the Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 11 after stellar performances in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament.
Bochniak earned a spot on the PBC All-Tournament Team with her outstanding play this week, starting with 21 kills and 14 digs against Flagler College in the Quarterfinal. In the semis, she went for 23 kills and 14 more digs, and then she tallied 14 kills and 15 digs in the title match with Augusta University.
The Bobcats came up short in four sets at the PBC Championship against Augusta University. The Bobcats are now preparing for the NCAA Division-II Regional Tournament. The Bobcats are set to face Augusta again in the first round. Play begins in Wingate, North Carolina on Thursday, Nov. 15.
