MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior Libby Bochniak (Marietta) of the Georgia College Volleyball team (4-2) has won her second-straight Bobcat Athlete of Week for the new school year.
Bochniak had a strong weekend, leading the Bobcats to go undefeated at the Jaguar Rumble in Augusta. In the win over Emmanuel College, she pounded out 18 kills with 17 digs, in the victory against King University, it was another 17-kill, 20-dig double-double. The blowout win over Albany State University was her first match with less than double-digit kills this season, but she pulled up 21 digs, a season-high.
GC Volleyball is back in action Friday, Sept. 20 at the Bellarmine Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky. GC squares off with Truman University and the University of Charleston on day one.
