MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.- Junior Jordyn Moellering (Cumming) of the Georgia College Volleyball team has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for her efforts during the week ending Nov. 3.
Moellering broke the school's career digs record in the five-set marathon with Flagler College Friday, jumping from third to first in one match. The junior now has 1,309 digs in her two-plus seasons, thanks to 21 against the Saints Friday.
The Bobcats are back in action Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m., traveling to UNC Pembroke.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup and the 2017 PBC Sportsmanship Institution of the Year, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
